Beretta 391 Teknys Gold Trap
The AL391 Teknys Gold is Beretta's ultimate field autoloader. With an added suite of standard and optional features, it becomes the AL391 Teknys Gold, the ultimate autoloader for the sporting
clays course or trap field. You'll pick it out instantly; the receiver is distinctively engraved with a
stylized Beretta logo on the left side, and both sides feature blue enameled inserts that unite the
receiver and buttstock in a stylistic look and distinguish the Target model from the green-enameled field gun.
Fitted in the buttstock of every Teknys Gold Sporting or Trap shotgun is an 8.5-ounce recoil
reducer based on the Spring-Mass system pioneered in the 3 1/2-inch 12-gauge Xtrema. If reduced weight is required by the shooter, the system is easily removed without the need of a
gunsmith. Those who want to keep a forward balance can help counteract its weight with an
optional 3.7-ounce steel magazine tube. The self-compensating gas operating system regulates
ammunition of varying ballistics, and has been thoroughly proven in the successful AL 391 Urika
series. The Teknys Gold Sporting and Trap models add a fast bolt release feature for fatigue-free
shooting when shoot-offs last all afternoon.
The overbored 12-gauge Optima-Bore barrel has a long forcing cone for reduced recoil and pellet
deformation. Optima-Choke tubes are a full 2 3/4" inches long to prove a smooth-patterning
gradual constriction. The 20-gauge model uses extended Victory Mobilchoke tubes. The barrel is
topped by an interchangeable rib system that allows the shooter the flexibility of customizing their
rib requirements. NOTE: Optional ribs are under development. Please visit the Beretta website
for future availability. All are fitted with TruGlo Tru-Bead fiber optic luminous front sights that give a
bright sight picture against any background.
The select walnut buttstock can be fitted with a rubber recoil pad or with the recoil-smothering
Gel-Tek silicone-core recoil pad. A supplied set of spacers allows the shooter to adjust, drop and
cast to accommodate different body types and shooting styles. The redesigned checkering pattern has been developed to combine maximized comfort while preserving the stylish appearance. A gun this distinguished deserves great care, and the Teknys Gold Sporting is
presented in a fitted polyproplene case that has additional storage compartments for all the supplied tools and accessories.
